Sunday 15th March – 7:30pm – Exeter Phoenix
Seafret performs at the Exeter Phoenix for the first time this Sunday night as part of their European tour. The British music duo from Bridlington, consisting of singer, Jack Sedman, and guitarist, Harry Draper, met at an open mic night. They both grew up on the coast, so took inspiration from this for much of their music and for their band name.
Their debut album, Tell Me It’s Real, released in 2016, peaked at no. 59 on the UK albums chart, with one of the songs from it used as the credits song in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ book, The Longest Ride. They are now touring off the back of the release of their new album, Most of Us Are Strangers.
Having performed at festivals including V Festival, Boardmasters and Kendal Calling, the Phoenix will be a more intimate venue to showcase songs from their new album and promises to be a great chance to catch the duo live.
